The Healthby group history
The Founding
Healthby origin dates back to early 2000, when Ime foundation and Medchild foundation were founded as a non-profit international arms of leading Italian Universities, Government Agencies and Hospitals.
2001-2009: Alliances to Reform Medical Education
In the early years, we developed a number of collaborations with other medical schools and academic medical centers around the world. Many of these relationships continue to this day. These early efforts focused in large part on helping medical schools around the world institute reforms to their curricula to meet the changing demands of their respective education environments.
2001-2005: Increasing Demand for Health Care Systems Development
Our work with top medical schools continued, increasing numbers of health care delivery organizations sought our help in the areas of clinical program development, workforce education, and facilities planning and development. These new relationships broadened Healthby portfolio of clients to include private and publicly operated hospital networks, government-run health care systems, as well as medical and dental schools.
2006-2008: Projects Call for Mix of Health Care and Education Expertise
We continued to develop its relationships with clients, the opportunity to work on projects focused on both health care delivery and education increased. A number of new projects called for planning expertise to guide large-scale developments featuring patient care facilities; schools for medicine, nursing, and allied health; and research infrastructure and training. As demand for this kind of "integrated" expertise grew, HEALTHBY become the largest integrated health system in the EU, was a natural evolution offering the opportunity to deepen our impact around the world.
